Balance Exercises For Your Gym Routine

Balance Exercises Enhance Your Gym Routine
Balance exercises are a great way to advance your gym routine. After awhile, it is easy to get accustomed to the routine at the gym, maybe even a little bored with it. Balance exercises are the perfect tool to challenge your exercise routine. Balance exercises also stimulate the core muscles to work harder during a workout. Performing balance exercises while weight lifting also stimulates a higher level of brain body connections.

Balance Exercises At The Gym

One example of doing balance exercises while weight lifting is to do biceps or triceps curls while on a balance board.

Another idea of adding balance exercises to a gym workout is to perform squats on a foam pad or uneven surface.

I also like to challenge my balance while doing different machines at the gym. For example, I like to stand while doing Lat Pull Downs. Standing forces me to perform balance exercises while pulling down on the bar. Additionally, I try to do exercises with my eyes closed when appropriate to challenge my balance further.
