Balance exercises and balance skills will be on display at the NCAA Finals tonight between the University of Kansas and the University of Kentucky. Congratulations to both fine basketball programs. These two teams have worked hard to make it to the finals. Both teams have practiced tirelessly in the gym and in the workout facility. Both teams exhibit remarkable athleticism in their play. The athletes are flawless in their spectacular demonstration of passing, dribbling and shooting. Underneath all the drills for passing, shooting and dribbling are foundational balance exercises and balance training.

Balance Exercises As Seen In March Madness
Balance exercises are the basic building blocks for each component of the game of basketball. As an example, when a player starts to take a shot, the ideal first step is to plant their feet in a shoulder width position, requiring the individual to center their balance point just like in basic balance exercises. By centering their balance, they are able to establish a solid foundation from which to take the best jump shot. Each component of the game of basketball is established on good balance techniques.
