The balance exercises and balance training displayed by the Olympic gymnastic events have been outstanding. Both the men’s and women’s gymnastics teams from the United States have performed tremendously well. Their routines have been breath taking. Each individual athlete has portrayed incredible balance abilities on every apparatus. The flying routines on the high bars have exemplified unbelievable balance control not only while attached to the bars but also while flying through the air. The floor routines exhibit remarkable balance skills with various tumbling components. Balance Exercises As Seen On The Balance Beam
Balance exercises and balance skills are most obviously displayed on the narrow four inch balance beam. The US women's gymnastics team is amazing with their balance beam routines. They take basic balance exercise components of controlling weight shifting, centering ones balance point and using the sense of touch between their feet and the beam to the highest level. Additionally, their balance exercises and balance abilities are unbelievable to complete jumps and rotations in the air and being able to land again on that narrow beam.
