The best way to keep from losing your balance is to practice weight shifting exercises. To do this, start standing with your feet shoulder width a part. Next, learn to center your body weight in the middle of your feet. The next step is to slowly move your body weight forwards and backwards, using the muscles in your lower legs to control the speed and motion of your weight shifting.
