Balance exercises  will become an important component of Lindsey Vonn's daily activites as she returns to have another surgery on her right knee. In February 2013 she sustained the worst injury of her career which involved a skiing accident where she tore her Anterior Cruciate Ligament in her right knee. Worst of all, in November 2013 she fell again tearing the same Anterior Cruciate Ligament. Because of those enormous injuries, Vonn was forced to pull out of  the 2014 Olympics. A few months ago she raced in Canada at Lake Louise and placed fifth and eleventh in two of her three races. Lindsey Vonn  had to alter her race training schedule as well as rely more heavily on strength training programs and physical therapy to prepare for the Sochi Games. In the end, she was unable to compete at such a high level and such unbelievable speeds due to the instability and imbalance resulting from her knee injuries.
